Thank you for a great show!
I am a breastfeeding mother in Japan.
It's a pity that a lot of new mothers give up breastfeeding from various reasons. I hope this site will help those who are struggling alone and need help.

Hey Sara,
I thought your first podcast was great! I agree that breastfed baby poos don't smell bad-- in fact I know several mums who think they smell good! :)
Also, one thing about breastfeeding a baby on an aeroplane-- it's the best thing you can do to soothe a baby's ears during take-off and landing. Adults can suck on candy sweets or 'un-pop' their ears themselves, but babies aren't able to do those things. As anyone who has ever flown on a plane whilst having any sinus troubles would know, the pressure build-up can be agony. And, people get really indignant when there's a crying baby on a plane--would Barbara Walters rather have had a screaming baby and a distressed mum seated next to her?

Hi Atsu. Thank you so much for writing (and sorry it's taken me so long to post back!) Your email meant a lot to me. It's very encouraging to think that my little voice can reach mothers around the world. It's my hope that LactStation can make a difference to some mothers somewhere. It's important that we let the world hear that breastfeeding is every mother's right and every baby's birthright. I will always treasure your email as the first mother who has written to me at LactStation.
Warmly,
Sara

Loved your first podcast. Just downloaded number two! I so enjoyed listening to you while cleaning my house and caring for my nursing toddler.
